You play with a fixed partner all day. Each team is one guy + girl. Teams take turns on two courts, and the others rest each round.

Every team plays 4 matches against 4 different teams, so playing time and rest are shared evenly. We play from 16:00 to 18:00.

It's a team league. The team on top at the end takes the crown 🏆

A match is 4 games. Whoever wins more gameswins the match (so 4-0, 3-1, or 3-2). If it's tied 2-2 after 4 games, a 5th deciding game is played.

Points go Love → 15 → 30 → 40. You must win the point after 40 to take the game.

At 40-40 (deuce) the next point is Advantage, but only once. If the team on advantage loses the next point, it becomes a ⚡ Sudden Game: the very next point wins the game.

The umpire taps the score live, so what you see on the Live screen is the real score.

Every win counts the same: 1 win, whether you won 4-0 or 3-2. Teams are ranked by, in this exact order:

1. Most matches won. This comes first. More wins always ranks higher, no matter the scores.
2. Game difference, only if wins are tied. All the games you won minus all the games you lost, added up across every match.
3. Total points won, only if still tied. Every point you won, added up.

The Leaderboard updates automatically as each match is finished.

Each round, the app picks a resting player to umpire each court, shown on the Schedule. If an all-one-gender match comes up, it assigns an opposite-gender umpire.

If your name comes up and you really would rather not, ask someone who is resting to take it. But please take the responsibility when it's your turn. It keeps the day moving and everyone gets a turn.

Respect the umpire. This is a fun match, so whatever the umpire calls, take it as final. 💛
